MY STORY

Who I am

I’m a professional editor based in southwestern Ontario. I have graduate degrees in history, and I'm completing my PhD in Canadian History. One of my earliest memories of school is my teacher assigning me special homework to improve my writing. I resented that work, but have now come to appreciate the power of well-chosen words and well-organized ideas.
I began working at my university's writing centre during my PhD, and I discovered my passion for helping people improve their writing. I love learning how people's ideas come together and helping them make their ideas, stories, characters, and research shine.
